CE certificated Copeland industrial Chocolate cooling and covering tunnels is our small chocolate cooling tunnel,which is mainy used to work in conjunction with our Enrobing Machine.The Cooling Tunnel is a long structure, that runs the length of the building for fast cooling on chocolate cooling, energy bar cooling, fruit bar cooling, or other bakery food cooling.
The small chcoclate cooling tunnei is designed to coat and cool various types of products. Built entirely with stainless steel, this tunnel is equipped with a 200mm/300 wide belt and two separate refrigeration units which allow for the creation of zones of different temperatures.
The temperature is set from a very user friendly and versatile control panel that allows the operator to easily navigate between the various functions of the machine. This machine is designed for industrial production.
The small cooling tunnel has only 3.2 meter length with a 3P compressor which can cool down the temperature to - 20 ℃.
The cooling unit we use is famous brand Copeland and the power is 3.5KW,which can create good and fast cooling effect.
The cooling and covering tunnel plays a key role on the chocolate enrobing.The Chocolate enrobing is a process that uses a “waterfall” of chocolate to provide a delicious coating of chocolate on products such as pretzels, chips, peanuts, popcorn, cookies and peanut brittle. The coating can consist of milk, dark, or white chocolate, as well as other coatings. During the enrobing process, a curtain of chocolate covers the product. The bottom of the product is coated at the same time by passing over a pool of chocolate.
After enrobing, the coated product passes into the cooling tunnel. The tunnel has a counter-current airflow so that the chocolate tempering process is not “shocked”. In other words, the conditions in the cooling tunnel are part of the chocolate tempering process. With this type of air flow, the cocoa butter crystals set-up in a manner consistent with a finished product that has a perfect set and fine gloss that our customers expect.
The CE certificated 3.2m chocolate cooling tunnel can be custom-made by tunnel length and compressor power. we can customized 4meter, 6meter, 8meter and 10 meter cooling tunnel with 3P, 5P or 8P compressor according to customer's requirements.
We also have industrial cooling tunnel for customer to choose, the industrial cooling tunnel is with minumum 400mm belt width and 3P refrigerator, the cooling tunnel length can customized to 10 meter, 14 meter or longer.

The Enrobing Machine creates a waterfall of liquid chocolate, which the products move through before they move down the Cooling Tunnel. Once coated, the treats pass under an air curtain and over a vibrating plate to remove the excess chocolate. They then continue through the Cooling Tunnel where they slowly set before reaching the Offload Room. These chocolates are then packaged up and stored in our Chocolate Room, or immediately hand packed depending on demand.
